Isabelle Winder at the SAA Meeting in Hawaii
The SAA annual meeting is one of the largest gatherings of archaeologists on the planet. Each year it meets in a different centre in North America. Although dedicated to the archaeology of the Americas, its scope is international, and it regularly attracts participants from other parts of the world. This year's meeting took place in the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu
Isabelle presented a paper (with Geoff Bailey, Geoffrey King, Maud Devès, Robyn Inglis, and Matt Williams) on Dynamic Landscapes as Agents of Human Evolution and Dispersal in a Symposium organised by Ariane Burke and Matt Grove on Modeling the Impact of Environmental Variability on Human Dispersals.
