Geoffrey King leads new fieldwork in Kenya
Between 1 and 26 September, Geoffrey King continued work with other members of DISPERSE on the tectonic geomorphology and edaphics of the Kenyan Rift, following up the work begun last year.
The team re-visited the area around Olorgesailie and conducted new investigations in the Nakuru basin, in particular in the area around Kariandusi.
Geoffrey King also gave a lecture at the National Museums of Kenya in Nairobi during the course of the trip.
Members of the team are shown in the field in the accompanying photograph (L. to R.): Stephen Rucina, Peter Owenga, Simon Kübler, Geoffrey King, Sally Reynolds and Boniface Kimeu.
